Abstract

This panel will introduce attendees to some of the new technologies that are becoming available for building scalable, enterprise-grade Office 2.0 applications, both in large corporate environments as well as for SaaS vendors.

Basically, we’re going to carve out a few of the issues that historically require weeks or months of study and often involve tens of thousands or even millions of dollars of resource allocation and boil them down to 45 minutes – seriously!

Whether you are a SaaS vendor or an enterprise IT professional (or someone who just wants to get the “lay of the land”), you’ll want to attend. Because the challenges that an enterprise customer faces and the challenges that a SaaS vendor faces may - on the surface - be similar, but the general complexity of dealing with enterprise IT organizations that may have been around in one form or another for 25+ years is different from architecting a SaaS offering (or even for enterprise organizations looking to acquire SaaS offerings).
